"I Understand The Real Problem Of My People Of Bungokho Central"- Mayor Masaba Muhamood As He Shared A One-On-One With Our Reporter.

"I was very poor, I've struggled to be where I am and this is because I've been so social and loyal to others in my community"-Masaba Muhamood.

As he moves to contest as a member of parliament representing the people of Bungokho Central, in Mbale District, the mayor of the Industrial City division in Mbale City, Mr. Masaba Muhamood has shared his one-on-one with us.

His Education background
Masaba Muhamood went to Nabumali Boarding Primary School in the early 90's but unfortunately, he was not able to sit for PLE from the school due to school fees issues.

Masaba says, he never gave up on his education career, he joined Nyondo demonstration primary school and successfully passed p7 very well. 
Things got out of control for Masaba after the family failed to pay his school fees in high school, which led to his school dropout.

After dropping out of School, Masaba Muhamood opted to go for business in Mbale town in the late 90's. 

He claims that President M7's Government had stabilized the country security-wide, and this helped him do his business smoothly.

Between the late 90's and Earl 200s, Masaba switched from dealing in commodities to real estate.

He claims this business transformed his life into what he is now. 

Between 2002-2004, President Museveni met with Masaba & he claims he has never been the same again.

"We were in Mt Elgon and president M7 asked who Masaba Muhamood was, I panicked, but as a wise man, I was able to convince the president who extended me to NRM top leadership"-Masaba.

Masaba claims that he was going to be appointed a minister but unfortunately, he had no academic qualifications. 

"I missed being appointed a minister because I was a school dropout, this opened my brains and I opted to go back to school"-Masaba.
In 2020, Masaba was able to pass S4 at Mt. Masaba High School.

After completing S4, Masaba joined S5 at Mt. Masaba and was able to pass s6.

Last year in November, Masaba Muhamood graduated with a Diploma in Social Work and Social Administration from Bugema University.
