You slapped a travel ban on speaker Anitah Among because of her stand on the Anti Homosexuality Bill which criminalises LGBTQI You are forgetting that more than 90 per cent of the MPs that voted for the enactment of the Anti Homosexuality Law were elected by Ugandans from different constituencies. Therefore , you can not even convince a kindergarten child that the Speaker was sanctioned because of her name being implicated in the iron sheets scandal. If that was the case, even other people whose names were mentioned in the scandal would have been sanctioned!
If you guys are serious, I am ready to avail the list of people who have looted this country naked, and they are always touring European cities, including London. Some of these looters even own prime properties in London .
Much as 90 percent of the MPs voted for this law , we have very many homosexuals in Uganda.
We live with them in our communities, and we work with them . We are a very tolerant country.
By the way, even the Constitutional Court pronounced itself on the Anti Homosexuality Act and nullified some of the provisions that were going to be troublesome for the homosexuals.
The nullified Sections had criminalised the letting of premises for use for homosexual purposes, the failure by anyone to report acts of homosexuality to the Police for appropriate action, and the engagement in acts of homosexuality by anyone which results into the other persons contracting a terminal illness..
So don't force your lifestyles on us who are not homosexuals.
It is now public knowledge that you slapped the sanctions on the Speaker of Parliament because of her consistent stand against homosexuality.
Why is it even that when you lifted the travel Ban on National Unity Platform leader Robert Kyagulanyi, is when you imposed it on Among?
