Celebrating president M7 on the 5th of July 2024 is very important, most especially to us who were born post the revolution years, that is past 1986, we've enjoyed a very peaceful Environment.
When you get the stories of those who were present in the early 70's, they will tell you how life was not so easy.
The rich people lost their properties due to insecurity.
For the past 36 years, we've seen almost no community, apart from Northern Uganda which has now stabilized because of president M7's efforts.
The people in the Northern city are now enjoying it, the Government of president M7 has introduced a good number of poverty eradication programs, including NUSAF.
These have transformed the lives of the communities which were affected by the LRA.
Programs like Emyooga, PDM etc are all president M7's ideas aimed at fighting poverty.
These are the reasons why we must celebrate president M7.
We want to avoid the issue of celebrating people when they are gone.
Now for the medical fraternity, president M7 increased the salaries, and as I speak, a medical Doctor takes home over 5m per month.
The medical interns were entitled to allawences amounting to 1.5m, it is unfortunate that this money was deducted again to 1m, we shall use this opportunity to address this issue before president M7.
Just look at the hospitals constructed under president M7's government, most of the hospitals have been equipped with medical equipment, like CT-Scan, X-ray, Oxygen machines, radiography etc.
Most regions now have well equipped referral hospitals.
