First Lady, Janet M7 calls Upon christians to develop a winning strategy in the anti corruption war declared by president M7.

The first lady of the Republic of Uganda, who doubles as the minister of Education and Sports, Janet Kataha Miseveni has called upon christians to develop a winning strategy in the anti corruption declared by H.E the president, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni

Quoting from the bible, she said, "You are thae light of the world. A city set on a hill can not be hidden. In the same way, let your light am shine before men and glorify your father in heaven. Both the public and private sectors must team up in this war because the public sector workers are not more than 400,000 citizens. Therefore, the majority of 45.5M are in the private sector.

The first lady who was represented at Deliverance Church, Nsambya by the KCCA Executive Director, Dorothy Kisaka, reminded the Christians of the war against AIDS which was fought during the 1990s using the ABC strategy.  A is abstain, B is for Be faithful, and C is Condom use. The ABC strategy must now be applied in the war against corruption. Abstain from corruption, be accountable and credible.

It should be noted that recently,  president M7 embarked on the fighting of corruption in Government institutions, including the Parliament of Uganda.

On Transparency International's 2023 Corruption Perceptions Index, Uganda scored 26 on a scale from 0 ("highly corrupt") to 100 ("very clean"). When ranked by score, Uganda ranked 141st among the 180 countries in the Index, where the country ranked first is perceived to have the most honest public sector.

Though, it was ranked number three in corruption in Africa.
