Keddi Foundation backs Dr. Khanakwa for parliament

Keddi Foundation Founder and CEO, Steven Keddi Zuluba has said he would like to see Dr Khanakwa Sarah in parliament come 2026 as the Namisindwa representative, urging the people of Namisindwa to vote wisely.

Keddi has warned of a curse that would befall the people of Namisindwa should they miss out having a brave woman of Dr. Sarah’s caliba.

“My people of Namisindwa, if you fail to vote for Sarah, God will curse you, because really, this humble woman can not come to treat you freely for two weeks, where you would to Mbale hospital and spend lots of money , this is a leader that you need to represent you in parliament,  and that’s what we want as Kedi foundation, leaders with good governance”.

This he was refereeing to the two weeks medical camp hosted in Magala town council courtesy of Dr Khanakwa Sarah where hundreds of locals were tested and treated to illnesses such us eyes defaults, tooth decay, malaria, ulcers etc. and also offered community rehabilitation services.

Keddi was speaking on Saturday 20st – 07 – 2024 at Magala play ground during the closure of the medical camp.

Dr Achenge Lucy the public relations officer representing St. Benedictine hospital from Tororo says they were able to work on 250 residents suffering from eyes defaults alone.

“For the eyes camp, we have been able to screen an average of 250 people both adults and children and we have discovered that about 96 adults have presented with bilateral catraps and we have refereed them to the main hospital for better management, then the common thing has been eye allage” say Dr. Lucy

While showing his gratitude, Keddi has promised to construct a medical facilitate in Namisindwa for public use.

He also distanced his foundation from political partyism saying they are not attached to any political party thus welcoming every political leader to join the foundation to be groomed and prepared on how well to serve the people.

“Here we have all political party members like the NUP, NRM, FDC and even the DP, so don’t mark us as that Kedi foundation is planning to form a political party, no, we welcome all popltical members” emphasized Kedi.
