Residents in Masajja Ndikuttamadda in Makindye Division have requested the ministry of health to investigate on the legality of Pamu Medical Center.
Residents have accused Dr. Mugenyi Patrick, the owner of the facility of sexual harassment and poor hygiene at the hospital.
One of the residents claimed that late last year, his wife was admitted at the facility but upon failing to clear the bill, the Dr. Sexually harassed her.
"I was given my wife's huge bill but the next day, my wife was discharged, after a few weeks my wife conferenced to me how the Dr. had slept with her in order to forgive us" - one of the residents.
Another victim alleged that the facility's hygiene is questionable.
"Just look at the exterior door and the interior of the medical facility, the place is so dirty and very unhygienic" - resident name withheld.
Another resident requested the ministry of health to confirm if the facility is minced.
Upon consulting the Director Pamu Medical Center, Dr. Mugenyi Patrick, he told us that these were all allegations aimed at tarnishing the image of the facility.
"Yes! It is true I treated that woman and they failed to pay the bill and I forgave them, it had nothing to do with a return for forgiveness, her and the husband opted to tarnish my name"- Dr Mugenyi Patrick via phone call.
Although Dr. Mugenyi Patrick wasn't clear when we asked him about the legality of the facility.
