Nandala contributes 100m towards Nakaloke Center Mosque Completion promises to spearhead the campaign of the Multi-billion project.


Hon. Nathan Nandala Mafabi to Lead Completion of Nakaloke Center Mosque, the Second Largest Mosque in Uganda

Honorable Nathan Nandala Mafabi has announced his commitment to leading the completion of the Nakaloke Center Mosque, which will become the second-largest mosque in Uganda after the Gaddafi Mosque in Kampala.

Expressing his gratitude to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni for the support provided so far, Hon. Mafabi urged the President to extend further assistance to ensure the mosque's construction is completed. 

He also committed to leading a delegation to State House to secure additional support.

"I call upon all religious communities, starting with Muslims, Catholics, Protestants, Pentecostals, and others, to join me in building the house of God. 

By doing so, you will receive God's blessings," Hon. Mafabi stated.

He reminded Ugandans that this is the second-largest mosque in Uganda, following the Gaddafi Mosque, and urged everyone to continue the work started by the late Ambassador Dr. Hassan Galiwango.

The works are set to commence on Monday, August 19, 2024, according to Hon. Mafabi.

The Deputy Resident City Commissioner (RCC) in charge of the Northern Division, Yahaya Wele, thanked Hon. Mafabi for his outstanding work and support towards the Nakaloke Center Mosque. 

He encouraged the people of the Northern City Division and Mbale City at large to join Hon. Mafabi in leading the completion of the mosque.

Similarly, the Deputy RCC in charge of the Industrial Division, Hamuza Banja, expressed his gratitude to President Museveni for the support and praised the mosque's management and Hon Nathan Nandala Mafabi for their efforts in the construction process.

Sheikh Silliman Faris Hassan Balamazi, the Imam of Nakaloke Center Mosque, also thanked Hon. Mafabi for his generous support and called on everyone to join in the completion of the mosque's construction.
