"I Am Not Contesting In 2026"Gen. Muhoozi Confirm

The Chief of Defence Forces, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, who is the son of president Kaguta Yoweri Musevi has thrown a spanner in the works of his supporters after declaring he will not contest for presidency in the forthcoming 2026 general elections as it has always been speculated.

Gen. Muhoozi made the announcement this morning via his official X-platform, formally know as Twitter.

"I would like to announce that I  will not be on the ballot paper in 2026. Almighty God told me to focus on His Army first. So, I fully endorse President Yoweri Museveni in the next elections"- Gen. Muhoozi.

All along, there has been speculations in the public, indicating that the first son will run for presidency in 2026 under his pressure group known as PLU.
