Jubilation As Minister Jim Muhwezi Boosts Over Three Churches With Construction Material



Minister Jim Muhwezi excites Christians after supporting construction of Kanyinya, Karama and Rushinya churchesin Bugangari

The Rujumbura County area member of Parliament who is also the Security Minister Hon. Maj. Gen. Jim Muhwezi yesterday Wednesday donated 50, 20 and 25 bags of cement to Kanyinya Church of Uganda, Karama in Kanyankyende and Rushinya Catholic Church respectively in Bugangari Sub County Rukungiri district.

The cement at Rushinya Catholic Church was intended for toilet construction; at Kanyinya, it was intended for church renovations; and at Karama, it was intended for church expansion.

The cement was delivered to the leadership of the aforementioned churches by his coordinator in Bugangari Sub County, Twetabe Earnest, on behalf of Minister Jim Muhwezi.

While handing over the cement representing Hon. Jim Muhwezi, Twetabe Earnest pledged continued support for the church’s development plans and encouraged Christians to work hard and embrace the government’s poverty alleviation programs aimed at improving the socio-economic standards of their communities.

Twetabe told Christians that Minister Jim Muhwezi’s donation relieves them from paying the tithe and can use the money for other ventures and personal growth.

He added that Jim Muhwezi is not just developing Bugangari but other places as well, and he is deserving of support in the general elections of 2026 so that he may carry out his development efforts.

Minister Muhwezi was commended by Byamukama Gaston, the chairperson of Bugangari Sub County, and Muhoozi Gad, LC5 councilor, for cooperating with them in providing services to the public.

They pleaded with the people of Bugangari to continue supporting the NRM government under the leadership of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni so that this can continue to grow and improve their community.

Christians and church leaders led by Charity Kaheesi, Onesmus Namara, Johnson Nasasira and Kiconco Obed received the cement but praised their MP. Hon. Jim Muhwezi for keeping his promise to deliver the bags of cement on time.

Sunday Gaston, Mugabirwe Calori and Muhwezi Wilber other christians applauded their legislator for having a giving heart not only supporting the church but as well as schools and other infrastructure development, promising to render their support in times of need.

Among those who were present during handover of cement to aforementioned churches include Isaac Kaharuza the political Assistant of Minister Jim Muhwezi, chief coordinator for Bugangari Sub County Mr. Dan Ahimbisibwe Bahamire, Angellous Turyakira from Kanyankyende among other supporters of Minister Jim Muhwezi.
