In a bitter phone call, Mbale City RCC, Madam Asumin Nasike fumed at an investigative journalist Musamali Arnold, aka Freeman Over a Parish Development Model corruption investigation exclusive story.

Earlier this week, our publication published an investigative story entitled:- See Here How The LC3 Cheated PDM Beneficiary Over 700k, RDC Backs Up LC3.
The story went viral, forcing the city RCC to call reporter Musamali Arnold, aka Freeman.
In a phone call, the RCC threatened to take the journalist to court for using her photo without her consent.
''Why did you use my photo in your Exclusive investigative story? Why didn't you put the people who stole the PDM beneficiaries' funds?''- RCC Asumin fumed.
However, she confirmed in her own voice that it was true her office, by the,n, Mbale District, had hundreds of reports/complaints of officials swindling PDM funds.
"I am not answerable to you, when I was in Mbale District as an RDC, I received hundreds of cases concerning the PDM funds; the files are in the office; why do you like pulling us down? - She questions our reporter.
RCC Nasike further claimed that most cases were not worked on because she was on her leave.
In the phone call, our reporter kept asking the RCC to make a comprehensive report for the beneficiaries to get justice.
"I am not fighting you, I am fighting corruption, the PDM victims claimed that your office never helped them, instead, it sidelined with officials who swindled the PDM funds"- Arnold.
On the phone call, Journalist Musamali Arnold tells the RCC to go ahead and file a case before the court.
"I am not Scared madam RCC, I don't need to seek permission to use your photo because you are a public figure and the photo was downloaded from the internet"- Arnold.
