Over the weekend, moto mouth Mirundi Junior, one of late Tamaale Mirundi’s son was dismissed from the clan Over what the clan heads described as "Indiscipline".

Earlier last week Buganda Kingdom and Tamale Mirundi’s family reach reconciliation after apologizing on behalf  of the late Mirundi Tamale, who had bitter words for Katikkiro and Mengo at large.

The family of the late political analyst, Tamale Mirundi, has made peace with the Buganda Kingdom after years of tension.

The family met with the kingdom’s leadership, including the Katikkiro (Prime Minister) Charles Peter Mayiga, to apologize for Mirundi’s previous actions and statements.

Throughout his career, Mirundi made several controversial remarks about the Buganda Kingdom, often ridiculing the institution and its leaders.

Despite the backlash from his comments, the outspoken critic remained defiant until his passing, refusing to offer any form of apology.

However, in a positive turn of events, the Katikkiro, through his X (formerly Twitter) handle, confirmed that the meeting between the family and the kingdom had taken place.

He stated that the kingdom, under the guidance of the Kabaka (King of Buganda), has chosen to forgive Mirundi’s past deeds and move forward.

Though Tamaale Mirundi Junior one of the late Mirundi’s Son was not in agreement  with the family members who went to Mengo to Appologise.

Junior said that his late father had his reasons for hitting memgo officials and he had reasons why he refused to appologise till when he died.
