The state minister in charge of the Karamoja region as well as the Woman Member of Parliament for Sironko District, Hon. Florence Wamala Nambozo has assured President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of a massive victory in the Bugisu region of the coming general elections.
According to Florence, it is high time for Bamasaba to thank President Museveni's efforts by voting for him in 2026.
"I call upon all my Bamasaba to support President M7 because we are also sharing the national cake. We've been wishing to have the President visit Bugisu because it has been a long time ever since he visited us"- she noted.
Minister Nambozo made the statements over the weekend during the memorial ceremony for the late Musamali at Matuwa Primary School in Namisindwa District.
Florence Wamala Nmbozo was recently appointed in the reshuffle as minister of state, office of the prime minister Karamoja region, replacing Agnes Nandutu, who is currently in court on charges of corruption and mismanagement of Karamoja Iron sheets.
Minister Nambozo called upon all Bamasaba to massively vote for president M7 because Bugisu Region is also sharing on the national cake.
"we've been waiting to welcome you to Bugisu because it has been a while, we are so grateful, personally I want to thank you for Appointing me a minister and I promise to mobilize for you in 2026 so that we win massively in Bugisu region"- Nambozo.
