Kyagulanyi Robert was invited by lawyer Mr George Musisi to a thanksgiving ceremony in Bulindo, Kiira Municipality, Wakiso District, where he participated in the celebration,It is believed that after the celebrations the fearless leader of the National Unity Platform (NUP), made an appearance to greet his supporters, and with him would come the inevitable clash with Uganda Police Forces.
The stakes were high, and all eyes were on his trusted bodyguard, Eddy Mutwe, who had earned a reputation for unwavering loyalty and bravery.As Bobi Wine’s convoy approached the town, the atmosphere grew electric.
Supporters and journalists thronged the dusty Bulindo town chanting slogans of freedom and change.The government, well aware of the potential for unrest, had deployed heavily armed security forces to maintain “order.”
