Former Jewa Parish Chief On The spotlight of Jangling Around With A PDM List, Inserts Ghost Names To Swindled Millions Of Money

Whistle blowers in Jewa have raised a concern before the this publication investigation team in regards with the PDM funds mismanagement and altering of the list with Ghost beneficiaries by a parish chief.

According to the whistle blower's write up they claimed that Walela Martin, the former parish chief of Jewa Town Council, Nakyanikille ward generated his own list with Ghost beneficiaries with an aim of swindling money.

Wanale Martin is currently the parish chief of Lumbuku Parish in Busiu Town Council.

Please receive a verification and status report on the above subject matter by whistle blowers, in Jewa town council.

Introduction

Nakyanikile ward is one of the awards in Jewa town council and is composed of three cells which include Nkusi, Doholo and Nakyanikire, this ward has had conflicts between the SACCO leaders and the Town agent regarding the selection of the PDM-PRF Beneficiaries whereby, the SAACO leaders claim to have a list of beneficiaries different from that of the Town agent thus mismatch of the information about the beneficiaries. 

It is upon this background that verification was instituted to come up with the information regarding the selected beneficiaries from the SACCO.

Objectives

To find out whether the farmers are the true residents and beneficiaries of Nakyanikile ward.

Find out whether the SACCO leaders and the residents are aware of the selected beneficiaries. 

The list below indicates the status of each of the selected beneficiary farmer:-

4 Kuloba - Non-resident and secretary claim that he was brought by the mayor

5 Muzisa - Non-resident and secretary claim that he was brought by the mayor

6 Khainza Asida - Resident of Doholo Cell and a wife to Chairperson of the same cell. However,     there is a claim that there are two beneficiaries with similar name but one is a non-resident of Nakyanikile ward and not known

7 Nambozo Shakila - Non-resident and not kwon

8 Nambozo Jamawa - Non-resident and secretary claim  that she is her daughter
