Mbale's Top Pastor Zubenda Wasike Joins Namisindwa Woman MP Race as Incumbent Netalisere Moves To Retire

Ceazer Zubenda Wasike, the leader of Impact Ministries International, a church founded by the late Bishop Patrick Okabe, has entered the race for Namisindwa Woman MP.

Zubenda, who is also the sister of Namisindwa District Chairman Jackson Wakweika, believes it is time for new leadership in the district, stating that the current leadership is not progressing well.

She emphasized that the district needs a tested and experienced administrator like herself to guide it to greater heights.

Known for her strong support in growing churches, Zubenda plans to mobilize churchgoers to embrace positive change that will create an impact in the community.

She emphasized the need for honest and trustworthy leaders to be entrusted with leadership roles.

Zubenda joins Khalayi Peace, Khanakwa Sarah, Rev. Grace Namukhura, and Dorothy Walukawu in the race for the NRM flag.

Recently, Namisindwa residents, during a news broadcast on NBS Television, accused the current Woman MP, Sarah Netalisere of abandoning them.

It remains unclear if the current MP will seek re-election after separating with her husband who has been a key person in her Victory.

In one of her exclusive with NBC TV, Netalisere noted that she would be retiring from active politics by 2026.
