The Bunyinza Banabwana clan in Butiru, manafwa district, yesterday 9th December 2024 state house official, Mr Mafumo Kefa for Member for Butiru County come 2026.
This was during the meeting in Makenya Church of Uganda In Butiru.
In this meeting, the banabwana clan leaders, chaired by the chairperson of the clan Mr Musimbi, the speaker Mr Wasibi & other committee members in a well organized speech endorsed the candidature of Kefa Mafumo as a clan, asking all members who fall in the category of Banabwana to massively mobilise support & vote hunt for Mafumo Kefa.
This meeting was witnessed by many observers including Buyusia prominent sympathizer and recruit of Mr Bwayo Gabriel and many others who witnessed every historical faction.
Other prominent observers include the former RDC of Manafwa, Sironko and Namisindwa Mr kigai Wamoto (Majje majje) the incoming Member of Parliament of Bukigai and Mr Sesiri Rogers the Vice Chairperson of NRM in Bududa district.
Currently, Butiru County is being represented by Hon. Godfrey Wakooli who has been in parliament for his first term.
Several other candidates have shown intrest in the position as we draw closer to the 2026 general elections.
