Mbale City Clerk Instructed To Suspend Recruitment Of A New City Education Officer sighting Corruption Escalation In The Process

 

The Equal Opportunities Commission has halted the recruitment process for the new Mbale city Education officer and her driver sighting irregularities and corruption in the process. 

In the document above, the Equal Opportunities Commission instructed Mbale City Clerk, Secretary city service Commission, chairman City Service Commission to stop the ongoing recruitment process of replacing interdicted Linus Nasimiyu & Anor Versus.

According to the document, Equal Opportunities Commission was sighting irregularities and corruption in the process. 

Apart from Equal Opportunities Commission's call, several candidates and officials in Mbale city have rated the recruitment process as an illegal process full of corruption. 

What you need to Know:

Few months ago, the Mbale City Clerk interdicted Linus Nasimiyu and her driver Anor Versus on allegations of damaging a Government vehicle.

According to the city Clerk, Linus's driver is said to have knocked a pavement along Bwalula in Bungokho and damaged the vehicle. 

The driver while responding to the issue noted that the car had a mechanical problem which resulted into an accident. 



Above is the document confirming the shortlisting of candidates to replace Linus, though according to the inside informers the process is not transparent.

An inside revealed to this publication that there is a move of secretively Appointing Mwesigwa Harriet, who is left with only a year to her retirement age.

Another informer has informed us that an appointment has been given to Mwesigwa and she is expected to assume office as soon as possible
