The Rt. Hon. Speaker, together with the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Thomas Tayebwa, have officially flagged off the team of Members of Parliament representing Uganda in the EAC Inter-Parliamentary Games in Mombasa this morning.
The set off was at Parliament parking space.
In her remarks, Speaker Among encouraged the team to actively participate while keeping in mind the core objective of the games, fostering the integration of the East African Community (EAC).
She emphasized that through sports, the shared vision of a united and prosperous East Africa can be effectively championed.
