Captain Mukula receives prestigious award for promoting investment, national dev’t in Uganda


Hon. Capt. Mike Mukula, the National Vice Chairman of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) in the Eastern Region, has been awarded the distinguished Uganda Development Champions Award 2024 for his remarkable contributions toward the achievement of Uganda’s Vision 2040 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The awards organized by Public Opinions International Ltd in conjunction with the Minister of State for Investment, Hon. Evelyn Anite, celebrate leaders who have demonstrated an unwavering commitment to realizing President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s vision of socio-economic transformation of Uganda’s economy.

Mukula broke the news during the ongoing Busoga Presidential PDM Tour where he expressed his gratitude to the brains behind the award and for recognizing those who have selflessly served this country, Uganda.



“I have been recognized with the Prestigious Uganda Development Champions Award by Minister of Investment Evelyn Anite and Public Opinions for my contributions towards the attainment of Uganda Vision 2040 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). I am exceedingly happy and grateful to Public Opinions and my sister, Evelyn Anite.”

Hon. Mukula further shared his excitement about receiving the National Investment Award, emphasizing his commitment to the continuous promotion of responsible investment and foreign relations.

As the Vice Chairman of NRM in the Eastern Region and a member of the Central Executive Committee, Hon. Mukula’s leadership and unwavering dedication continue to inspire many, marking him as a key figure in Uganda’s journey towards sustainable development.

Public Opinions, the esteemed organization behind the award, has long been at the forefront of efforts to improve Uganda’s diplomatic relations, promote foreign investment, and provide public awareness on key national issues.
