Hudu Hussein transferred to Kumi as Washaki takes over Masaka City

A few weeks ago, the office of the Presidency transferred RCC Hudu Hussein from Masaka City to Kumi District, and Ahmmad Washaki to Masaka City.

What You Need To Know.

In 2022, Hudu was transferred from Kampala capital city as A city RCC and take to Yumbe.

While in Yumbe, he vowed to clash with land grabbers and monitor all government programs.

His transfer to yumbe led to the celebrations by Kampala Capital city residents, most especially the street vendors.

It should be noted that why a city RCC, hudud commanded the exit of all street traders to easy traffic.

In less than a year, hudu was again transferred to Masaka City as an RCC, regaining back his title of City residents Commissioner.

First thing first, who is Hudu Hussein?

Hudu Hussein, is a Ugandan from the mountains of Elgon in Mbale district from Bumuluya village, Bumuluya parish, Bukonde sub county which is now northern city division of Mbale.

He is a son of Hajji Hudu Madanda and a grandson of Hajji Amiss Kahandi. All are from Mbale. Hudu is a proud husband of two wives, an ardent Muslim, a father of four children. His first born is in Senior 2, (15 years). Though people  think he is very young but you can see.

Hudu started his education journey from Bumuluya primary school but that journey was a little short lived so he had to leave with his mother and went to Busia where he continued his primary school. Busia is a border district, so he did his P1-P7 from there, came back home in Mbale district.

After p7, he joined a school called Nkoma secondary school in Mbale district from S1-S4 where he also held a number of student leadership positions. So from there he went to Lugazi Mixed Secondary School for my A level where he also held a number of student positions. 

After A level, he joined the Islamic University in Uganda(IUIU) and then LDC for Diploma, he went to Makerere University for law and UMI for masters, he also went to LDC for the bar course. 

Hudu two degrees; in Education and Law with one masters, and two diplomas.

Source told us that his transfer to Kumi District is a move aiming to easy his political career mobilisations.

Insiders informed us that hudu is eying the Northern City Division member of Parliament position in 2026.
