M7's Son, Gen Muhoozi Quits Social Media, Leaves Emotional Farewell Message

In a surprise move, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the Chief of Defense Forces, announced his departure from social media platform X, formerly Twitter.

His farewell message was a heartfelt and reflective note, expressing gratitude to his followers and hinting at a new chapter in his journey.

Gen Kainerugaba's message began, "To all my Dear followers, It has been a great whirlwind and rousing journey together on these streets for the last 10 years since 2014." He acknowledged the instructions and blessings of his Lord Jesus Christ, guiding his decision to leave social media and focus on his duties as the head of the Uganda Peoples' Defence Forces (UPDF).

The General's message was filled with appreciation and affection for his followers. "I know you all love me, and that you will continue to follow me like the wind long after here." He expressed confidence that their paths would cross again in the future, once he had fulfilled his assignment to restore peace and security in the region.

Before signing off, Gen Kainerugaba urged his followers to continue supporting Uganda, Africa, and President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, whom he referred to as "the greatest General of the Resistance." He concluded with a warm farewell, saying "Kwaheri, and God bless you all!!!"

This departure comes hours after Gen Kainerugaba visited joint operation troops under Operation Shujaa in Ituri, where he instructed them to eliminate the remaining ADF terrorists within the eleven months.

His social media exit has left his followers with a sense of nostalgia, but also anticipation for what's to come.

A search for Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba's former handle @mkainerugaba on X (formerly Twitter) now yields no results, confirming his departure from the platform.

Sources close to the General say he is likely to develop a new social media way of connecting with all his followers, probably through a podcast on YouTube. Fatwes TV | #Updates
