Photos: Speaker Among, Husband In Kenya To Bid Farewell Wetang'ula's Late Mother

Earlier today, the Rt. Hon. Speaker of Parliament of Uganda, Anita Among accompanied by her husband, Hon. Moses Magogo, and Members of Parliament, joined her counterpart, the Rt. Hon. Moses Wetang’ula, Speaker of Kenya’s National Assembly in Bungoma, Kenya, to bid farewell to his mother, Maayi Ann Nanyama.

On behalf of H.E. President Yoweri Museveni and the Parliament of Uganda, Speaker Among conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and the people of Kenya.

In her tribute, she described the late Maayi Ann Nanyama as a national pillar, a source of wisdom, and a nurturing figure who played a pivotal role in shaping leaders, including the current Speaker of Kenya, Rt. Hon. Moses Wetang’ula, and Hon. Tim Wanyonyi, a Member of Parliament in Kenya’s National Assembly.
