Today morning, the speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Anita Annet Among joined the family of late Brig. Gen. Charles Oluka, the Director General of ISO, to offer her condolences during this difficult time.
While speaking to the media, Speaker Among rated Charles as not the only a personal friend but also a dedicated patriot who served his country with commitment.
"His passing is indeed a profound loss. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and the entire UPDF fraternity" -Among Mourned.
Speaker Among further said the late was a true patriot and dedicated public servant.
"My heartfelt condolences go out to H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, his family, the staff of ISO, and the entire nation. Brig. Gen. Oluka's selfless service to Uganda will never be forgotten. He was an intelligence icon who demonstrated unwavering commitment, honesty, and love for his country, and his legacy will continue to inspire future generations. May his soul rest in eternal peace, and may we find comfort in the memories of his remarkable life and service. Uganda has indeed lost a great son"- Speaker Among
Oluka died yesterday the 29th of January 2025 and burial arrangements are soon to be communicated.
