Busulani Sub-County Chairman, Mr. Gidudu John Dadiri, an elected leader on the FDC ticket, has called upon the people of Budadiri East to rally behind Hon. Eng. Nakiyi Julius in his bid for Member of Parliament. 

Speaking during the official launch of Nakiyi’s campaign in Elgon Sub-County, Mr. Gidudu emphasized the need for united leadership and transformative development, urging voters to put aside party lines and support a leader committed to economic empowerment and progress for all.

His endorsement underscores the growing momentum behind Eng. Nakiyi Julius’ campaign, as leaders and voters across different political affiliations unite in support of his vision for a prosperous and inclusive Budadiri East.

Nakiyi has confirmed that he will run on the NRM ticket. He announced that he will officially launch his campaign in Elgon Sub-county on February 1st, with schedules for other sub-counties to be shared thereafter. He urged residents in other sub-counties to await his visit, as he intends to meet voters in every sub-county.  

While making his remarks, Nakiyi  encouraged voters to participate in the ongoing voter register update, emphasizing its importance in confirming their eligibility to vote.  

Nakiyi will face tough competition from the incumbent Sasaga Isiah Wanzila, Vincent Woboya, Kiwungulo John, Nanoka Mike, and others.
