Flt. Capt Mike Mukula intends to retain his seat
Flight Captain, Mike Mukula has made his political intentions clear considering that his current term as NRM Vice Chairman, Eastern Region is coming to an end this year.
Mukula made his intentions clear by posting a poster on his X-Handle indicating that he wants to keep his seat of NRM Vice Chairman, Eastern Region for the next elective period, 2025-2030.
Mukula becomes the second senior NRM Party official to declare interest for these regional chairpersons. Last weekend. The NRM Party Chief Whip, Hamson Obua declared his interest to stand for NRM Vice Chairman, Northern Region.
In the last elections, Mukula narrowly beat Tororo Municipality’s former MP Sanja Tanna who interestingly beat in the Eastern region hands down.
This publication is yet to know whether Sanjay Tanna will want a re-match or may go back to Tororo Municipality where voters are keen to have him back.
