Community members in Nampiti Village, Bungokho subcounty, in Bungokho Central Mbale District are jubilating after their Borehole was fixed.
The water source was fixed by Mr. Wamono George, an Mp aspirant for Bungokho Central, 2026-2031.
According to the VHT's report, this water Source Supplies Over 600 Households in the community and it had broken down for over two years.
While speaking to the media, Wamono said the repairs of the water sources is part of his manifesto of 2026-2031.
"Fixing water sources is part of my manifesto, I will not wait to go to Parliament before fixing small problems in the communities. Without water, we expect diseases which will even claim a life, therefore, I will have lost a vote"- Wamono stressed.
Wamono also donated two doors to the newly constructed Nabmbiti church of Uganda.
