FDC’s Nandala Donates Flour and Sugar to Sironko Muslims

A consignment of 4,000 kilograms of flour and 2,000 kilograms of sugar has been donated to Muslims in Sironko by MP Nandala Mafabi. The items were delivered by Rev. Jackson Magombe, the Director of Operations and Communications in the Office of the MP for Budadiri West.

Magombe said the donation aims to support fasting Muslims during the holy month of Ramadan. He noted that the consignment will be distributed among 153 mosques in the constituency, continuing a tradition MP Nandala upholds every fasting season. He also encouraged Muslims to love one another, respect everyone, and maintain their faith even after the fasting period.

Sheikh Abdulhakim Mugoya, the District Kadhi of Sironko, expressed gratitude for the donation, urging other leaders to follow MP Nandala’s example and support fasting Muslims. He described Nandala as a dedicated leader who consistently supports both religious and community initiatives.

Mustafa Wazangilo, a fasting Muslim from Bukiyiti Town Council, also appreciated the gesture. He said the support was timely, as many families have been struggling to find food for the morning and evening meals during Ramadan.
