Flt. Capt. Mike Mukula is a Ugandan politician, businessman, and professional pilot, born on August 27, 1958, in Soroti, Teso sub-region, Eastern Uganda. He’s a key figure in Uganda’s post-independence political and economic landscape, particularly tied to the National Resistance Movement (NRM), the ruling party since 1986 under President Yoweri Museveni.

Early Career: Mukula trained as a pilot in Kenya and the United States, later serving as Museveni’s personal pilot in the late 1980s, a period when the NRM was consolidating power after the bush war (1981–1986).

Moved a successful motion to disarm the karamoja region of an estimated number of 60.000 guns which were being used to raid cattle in Acholi,Lango,Teso,Bugisu ,sebei and inside Karamoja regions . And has stopped the killings in those regions.
He also led the Formation of Arrow militia -16 Battalions in Teso region and Amuka in lango against LRA-KONY rebels in 2003 June .
Mukula led the succesful peace mission in Rwenzori region for the return of Iremamgoma -The cultural head of the Rwenzururu from USA .
He also Partispated in the recovery and burial of thousands of Rwandese bodies in Kasensore -Rakai and Mpigi along River Akagera -Lake victoria confulence .
He lead several campaingns for PRESIDENT MUSEVENI and NRM in a helicopter in eastern uganda and The country at large at his own cost .
He mobilized several succesful campaigns in the region and country for several MPs ,chairmen and leaders in the country.
Participated in several crossings of several opposition party leaders into NRM across the region and country .

Mukula Also owns a private security company, Hospital, Injection manufacturing plant, Radio stations, real estate and other businesses in Uganda and across the world.
It is estimated that he has over 55 companies which are well established and has always rejected President M7's offer for a minister position.
