Fort Portal City: Today morning, Mr Stanely Bayole the Forte portal RCC hosted the Minister of Health, Hon Minister Dr. Jane Ruth Acheng in a one-day workshop that brought together development partners, regional leaders, and health officials, including the Director-General of Health Services and officials from the Ministry of Health.
The meeting aims to suggest possible ways to End Ebola spread after confirming the outbreak in the Forte portal City.
The workshop took pkace at Kalya Courts Hotel in Fort Portal City from where they discussed how to end Ebola pandemic in the city and entire Uganda at large.
The workshop was attended by: Hon Min Jane Ruth Aceng (Minister of Health), All Local Council Five Chairperson(s), All District Health Officers, Director General Health Services and other officials from the Ministry of Health.
RCC Bayole welcomed the official urged them to be patriotic while serving the people of Uganda.
"Let us use well the little resources they have meaningfully to enable us control the outbreak"-Bayole.
He further asked them to be very careful as they handle the Ebola disease since it's deadly.
Bayole also thanked the MoH, Mininstry of Defence and Security for the combined efforts put in the fight of the pandemic disease and he later thanked the political wing of Fort Portal City and the entire community for the cooperation.
