Susan Kushaba, a Market vendor in Owino has officially announced her candidacy for the Kampala Central parliamentary seat in the 2026 general elections.
Running under the slogan "Eddoboozi Ly’Omuntu" (The Voice of the People), Kushaba is aligning her bid with the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) and the Patriotic League of Uganda.
Kushaba previously served as the Chairperson of St. Balikuddembe (Owino) Market, where she played a pivotal role in advocating for the market’s return to government control from the SSLOA.
