Hon. Lydia Wanyoto Mutende the Chairperson NRM Women’s League had today delivered consignments to three Muslim twales in Mbale City.
The consignment was first delivered to Namanyonyi Twale where 330 Muslims from 33 mosques received maize flour, soap, sugar, water, maize seeds plus cash worthy 1.65 million shillings.

Sheikh twale Abubakar Kizza thanked her on behalf of Muslims for being the most consistent leader in the City and urged the Muslim community to embrace her in the coming general election.
In Lwaso twale, 160 Muslims received relief including the mosque committee members lead by the imam. 18 mosques benefited from items like soap, mineral water, maize floor, maize seed among other items.

They also received a cash donation of 800.000 UGX as transport refund to their different destinations.
In Bukonde, 230 Muslims benefited from similar items with cash of 1.150.000 Uganda shillings.

Yesterday, Nakaloke benefited from the same initiatives with 380 Muslims benefiting from the program. Hon. Wanyoto informed that she will be doing the same to other parts of the City where she hasn’t reached.
Village Health Teams in excess of 700 also received relief like maize seeds and Maize flour.
So far this month, Close to 2000 people have now benefited from Hon. Lydia Wanyoto’s food security at Household program that started in 2011.
