Earlier today, the the speaker of the Parliament of Uganda, Rt Hon. Speaker Anita Among met the Rt. Hon. Madala Mhlanga, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Eswatini, and Hon. Timothy Matsebule, Auditor General, at Parliament.
Their visit followed the successful conclusion of the 5th African Organisation of Public Accounts Committees (AFROPAC) Assembly, which the Parliament of Uganda was privileged to host.
Discussions focused on strengthening inter-parliamentary collaboration, exchanging best practices in legislative oversight, and enhancing accountability mechanisms.
The Speaker also took the opportunity to interest them in Uganda’s rich tourism and renowned coffee, which she described as a true symbol of the country’s vibrant agricultural heritage.
