This significant gathering marked the beginning of a promising partnership between uganda parliamentary Association (UPPA) and the Government of China, focusing on communication and technology.
The delegation of UPPA was headed by its President, Sam Ibanda Mugabi.
While speaking to our reporter, Mugabi said that as an association, they are excited to explore opportunities for collaboration and knowledge sharing in these vital areas.
The Chinese Ambassador, Mr Zhang committed to supporting UPPA members by providing them with Chinese lessons, Computers and some benchmarking trips to China to learn more about the new technology communication innovations.
According to Mugabi, the partnership has the potential to drive growth, innovation, and progress in Uganda, and we're grateful for the Chinese Government's willingness to engage with us.
The dinner meeting was a wonderful opportunity to build relationships, discuss mutual interests, and lay the groundwork for a fruitful partnership. We look forward to seeing the positive impact of this collaboration in the years to come.
