Yesterday, the Fort Portal City RCC, and also the father of the Inebantu of Busoga, Mr Stanley Bayole (Ddada Busoga) held an emergency meeting with the officials from the Ministry of Health, after getting a notification of a suspected Ebola Person.
Accordion to the Ministry, they came tracing for the Ebola Suspect who came from Ntoroko District, passed via Fort Portal City Hospital and then went to Kampala.
Which in meeting, the ministry officials came tracing for the contacts who associated with him previously, before his death.
During their meeting, they agreed to start on-air talkshows like on radios, televisions and all other social media handles to sensitize the general public on how to fight and prevent the wide spread of the disease in their communities.
Mr Bayole thanked the team that came from the ministry and he assured them that as the head of security in the city, he will make sure the matters are followed up and implemented.
Bayole further urged the general public to always be vigilant and always report the suspected person(s) to the concerned health personnels or security organs.
