Keep Tooro (Fort Portal City Clean) : Today, the office of the President (RCC Fort Portal City) have again fulfilled their promise that they promised the people of Tooro, Fort Portal City of cleaning the Tooro and City every first day of the new month together with the Prime Minister of Tooro Kingdom who represented the King under the Initiative of "Baragirakiki" which means "What will people think about us?"
They were joined by the security organs; Uganda Police Force, Uganda People's Defence Force, The Red Cross Uganda, Geos Lana Students, Community Business People during their second cleaning of the city from where they cleaned Kabundaire market, The River-Banks of Mpanga River and nearby places.
Mr Stanley Bayole the RCC Fort Portal City and (Ddada Busoga) told the community not to litter Fort Portal City by both the visitors and Tooro citizens, anyone found littering Tooro will face the consquences because it's punishable by the courts of law. He also told them to keep the glory of Tooro because it was the cleanest city in Uganda, so we want to prevent it and keep it up.
He further thanked the security organs, UPDF, UPF, The Red Cross, Business People in Fort Portal City and the tourists who came in due to the good work they were doing of cleaning the Tooro.
It should be noted that Hygiene is Healthy, Healthy is Hygiene, you can't separate the two therefore clean environment is a healthy community. You can't be healthy when you in a dirty environment.
