The Uganda Parliamentary Press Association (UPPA) leadership, comprising President Samuel Ibanda Mugabi, Secretary General Arthur Wandero, and Print Media Representative Sarah Nabakooza, were honored to attend the Francophonie Day celebrations at the French Residence in Kampala.

Despite being an English-speaking country, Uganda maintains strong ties with the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), which comprises over 80 member states and governments, including several African nations.
The invitation of the UPPA leadership to this prestigious event highlights the media's role in fostering dialogue and promoting engagement with Francophone nations.
