The Fort Portal City Resident City Commissioner (RCC) Stanley Bayole and the Prime Minister of Tooro Kingdom yesterday commissioned the treating of children with disabilities on hands and legs In Tooro.
According to Bayole, the initiative is a paternship from their friends from Hands of Mercy, an American NGO who are working in Buhinga Referral Hospital to see that they help those children feel like other people in this nation through positioning their bones back and other issues in that lane.
Bayole says that they will do this service for fifteen days while working hand in hand with the government of Uganda under the Ministry of Health (MoH).
In his remarks, Bayole thanked the nurses for loving Uganda and Fort Portal City at large (Tooro Kingdom) and he urged those with such children with disabilities on their bodies to take them for medication since they are for free.
The Prime Minister, Tooro Kingdom (Mr Calvin Armstrong) also thanked the team for the tremendous work they are rendering to the people of Uganda and Tooro Kingdom at large hence healthy people in the communities.
